The battle of Trenton

On Thursday, December 26, 1776,  Washington began to withdraw his army across New Jersey toward Philadelphia. Washington was going to cross the Delaware river and surprise attack the Hessians. It took Washingtons army almost 24 hours to cross the river, when Washingtons army attacked they caught the Hessians by surprize and took out many of them, the Hessians were outnumbered and surrounded they had no choice but to surrender.

If you can look at the first picture, the picture shows you the Colonist crossing river. Although it was very hard to ship all the colonist army over night in small amount of shift, The Colonist won the battle of Trenton

Greatly, the Colonist won this battle because the General George Washington took his soldiers in the Christmas night  and  defeat the Hessians at the morning.

Battle of Yorktown

On Tuesday, October 09, 1781, in 1781 was a decisive victory by American forces led by General George Washington and French forces led by General Comte de Rochambeau. The battle of Yorktown was the last major land battle of the American Revolutionary war. The Americans had the British outnumbered by 11,620 men.

In the picture above, It shows you the battle of the Yorktown during the battle.

Happily, the Colonist won this battle because the British were surrounded by American/Colonist and the French on the mountain so they had no way to escape. The French were with Colonist team so Colonist won this battle.
